COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br /> <br />1 <br /> 1 <br />LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL 2 <br />REGULAR MEETING 3 <br />MINUTES 4 <br /> 5 <br />DATE : October 25, 2021 6 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 7 <br />TIME ENDED : 6:55 p.m. 8 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz, Lyden, 9 <br /> Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty 10 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : 11 <br /> 12 <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Community Development Director 13 <br />Michael Grochala; Public Safety Director John Swenson; City Engineer Diane Hankee; City Clerk 14 <br />Julie Bartell 15 <br /> 16 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 17 <br />Scott Robinson, Lino Lakes, recently submitted an application to be a manager on the Rice Creek 18 <br />Watershed District Board. He is a businessman in the city and he reviewed his background, 19 <br />including in community service 20 <br />Administrator Cotton explained that the appointment of members to the Rice Creek Watershed 21 <br />District Board is established by state statute. She will report on that process at the November work 22 <br />session. 23 <br />Councilmember Cavegn asked about Mr. Robinson’s interest in serving. Mr. Robinson noted his 24 <br />work as a farmer and some issues experienced with drainage in the past. 25 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 26 <br />The agenda was approved as presented. 27 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 28 <br />Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1F as presented. 29 <br />Councilmember Stoesz seconded the motion.
