<br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLLING <br />LOCATIONS FOR 2022 ELECTION YEAR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 204B.16, subd. 1 requires the governing body of each <br />municipality to designate by ordinance or resolution polling places for each election precinct <br />each year no later than December 31st; and <br />WHEREAS, the polling places designated by resolution in December of each year are the <br />polling places to be used for elections in the following calendar year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the redistricting process will occur in 2022 and could impact the voting <br />precinct lines in the City; therefore cities will be allowed to change their designated polling <br />places after December 31, 2021 if necessary; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino <br />Lakes that the polling locations to be used for municipal precincts in calendar year 2022 are <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Precinct #1 Lino Lakes Senior Center, 1189 Main Street <br />Precinct #2 Lino Lakes Fire Station #1, 7741 Lake Drive <br />Precinct #3 St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street <br />Precinct #4 Lino Lakes City Hall, 600 Town Center Parkway <br />Precinct #5 Rice Creek Covenant Church, 125 Ash Street <br />Precinct #6 Lino Lakes Fire Station #2, 1710 Birch Street <br />Precinct #7 Living Waters Lutheran Church, 865 Birch Street <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs the City Clerk to make all <br />necessary notifications and preparations for elections to be held in 2022 as required by MN <br />Statute, Rule and Administrative Policy of the City. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of November, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> ___________and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
