COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> APPROVED <br /> 1 <br /> 2 LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> 3 REGULAR MEETING <br /> 4 MINUTES <br /> 5 <br /> 6 DATE : October 25,2021 <br /> 7 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. <br /> 8 TIME ENDED : 6:55 p.m. <br /> 9 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz,Lyden, <br /> 10 Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty <br /> 11 MEMBERS ABSENT <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Community Development Director <br /> 14 Michael Grochala; Public Safety Director John Swenson; City Engineer Diane Hankee; City Clerk <br /> 15 Julie Bartell <br /> 16 <br /> 17 PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 18 Scott Robinson, Lino Lakes, recently submitted an application to be a manager on the Rice Creek <br /> 19 Watershed District Board. He is a businessman in the city and he reviewed his background, <br /> 20 including in community service <br /> 21 Administrator Cotton explained that the appointment of members to the Rice Creek Watershed <br /> 22 District Board is established by state statute. She will report on that process at the November work <br /> 23 session. <br /> 24 Councilmember Cavegn asked about Mr. Robinson's interest in serving. Mr. Robinson noted his <br /> 25 work as a farmer and some issues experienced with drainage in the past. <br /> 26 SETTING THE AGENDA <br /> 27 The agenda was approved as presented. <br /> 28 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 29 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items I through 1F as presented. <br /> 30 Councilmember Stoesz seconded the motion.
