COUNCIL MINUTES APPROVED 1 2 LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL 3 REGULAR MEETING 4 MINUTES 5 6 DATE : October 25,2021 7 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 8 TIME ENDED : 6:55 p.m. 9 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz,Lyden, 10 Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty 11 MEMBERS ABSENT 12 13 Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Community Development Director 14 Michael Grochala; Public Safety Director John Swenson; City Engineer Diane Hankee; City Clerk 15 Julie Bartell 16 17 PUBLIC COMMENT 18 Scott Robinson, Lino Lakes, recently submitted an application to be a manager on the Rice Creek 19 Watershed District Board. He is a businessman in the city and he reviewed his background, 20 including in community service 21 Administrator Cotton explained that the appointment of members to the Rice Creek Watershed 22 District Board is established by state statute. She will report on that process at the November work 23 session. 24 Councilmember Cavegn asked about Mr. Robinson's interest in serving. Mr. Robinson noted his 25 work as a farmer and some issues experienced with drainage in the past. 26 SETTING THE AGENDA 27 The agenda was approved as presented. 28 CONSENT AGENDA 29 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items I through 1F as presented. 30 Councilmember Stoesz seconded the motion.
