<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-35 <br /> <br />APPROVING LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />AND LELS, LOCAL NO. 299 FOR YEAR 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local No. 299, <br />representing the police officers, have reached a one-year agreement for 2020. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br /> <br />1) WAGES: 3% wage increase effective January 1, 2020, for all unit members. <br /> <br />2) HEALTH INSURANCE: The City saw a decrease this year and the union and City shared <br />in the decrease for 2020. All remaining provisions remain the same. <br /> <br />3) CONVERSION OF DAYS TO HOURS: A majority of the language within the labor <br />agreement will now reflect hours versus days, with the exception of sick leave <br />contributions into deferred compensation and injury on duty. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of April 2020. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member ___________ and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
