<br />WS – 4 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Date: May 4, 2020 <br /> <br />To: City Council <br /> <br />From: Karissa Bartholomew, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Re: City Administrator Hiring Process <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />With City Administrator Karlson’s retirement announced, the City Council discussed <br />appointment of the next Administrator and the promotion of Finance Director Sarah Cotton to <br />the City Administrator role. Staff was directed to work with the City Attorney to draft an <br />employment agreement for Cotton. <br /> <br />The City Council will need to discuss the terms and conditions of Cotton’s employment as City <br />Administrator.
