WATER RESOURCES: WETLANDS <br /> <br />Item No. Mitigation Description Update <br />12.1 Delineate wetlands in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Wetlands <br />Delineation Manual and classify wetlands according to Wetlands of the <br />United States (Circular 39) and Wetlands and Deepwater Habitats of the <br />United States. <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.2 Follow sequencing process of wetland avoidance, minimization, <br />rectification, and mitigation as outlined in the Wetland Conservation Act <br />(WCA) if wetlands area altered. <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.3 Apply for applicable wetland permits to obtain authorization for wetland <br />alterations under WCA and Section 404 prior to project construction if <br />development activities will impact a jurisdictional wetland. <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.4 Mitigate areas of wetland impacts according to the requirements of the <br />Wetland Conservation Act. <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.5 Submit wetland permit applications and replacement plans, as <br />appropriate, to the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, and the City of Lino Lakes. <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.6 Follow the requirements for wetland alterations delineated by the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District (RCWD). <br />This mitigation measure is ongoing. <br />12.7 Minimize or avoid totally any filling of public waters through careful design.
