He is recommending that certain property (bikes) be donated at this time. 56 <br />Councilmember Stoesz suggested that staff determine if it’s possible to preauthorize the regular 57 <br />donation of bikes. 58 <br />Councilmember Stoesz moved to accept the donation as recommended. Councilmember Ruhland 59 <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 60 <br />4B) Consider Donation of K9 Squad Organizer – Public Safety Director Swenson reported 61 <br />that the department has an organizer that no longer fits into the newer model squad car. Therefore 62 <br />he is recommending that the organizer be donated to the Anoka County Sherriff’s Office where they 63 <br />have a use. 64 <br />Councilmember Cavegn moved to approve the City’s donation as recommended. Councilmember 65 <br />Ruhland seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 66 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 67 <br />There was no report from the Public Services Department. 68 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT 69 <br />6A) Consider Resolution No. 20-75, Approving Payment No. 8 and Final, LaMotte Area 70 <br />Street and Utility Improvement Project – City Engineer Hankee noted completion of the project 71 <br />and a remaining balance to be released to the contractor. She noted the final project cost that 72 <br />included grant funds from the Rice Creek Watershed District. She is recommending that the 73 <br />council approve the final payment. 74 <br />Mayor Rafferty remarked that the project was well done and the contractor well received by the 75 <br />residents. 76
