<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-165 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE 2021-2022 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES AND AFSCME, LOCAL NO. 2454 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the American Federation of State, County, and <br />Municipal Employees, Local No. 2454, have reached an agreement for 2021-2022; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br /> <br />1. WAGES/CLASSIFICATIONS: <br />a) 2.25% Wage increase effective January 1, 2021 <br />b) 2.25% Wage increase effective January 1, 2022 <br />c) Wage Schedule replaced in entirety to reflect implementation of Keystone Job <br />Classification and Compensation Plan. <br /> <br />2. INSURANCE: <br />Article 16.1 (Health Insurance and H.S.A.) revised to read: <br />a) Effective January 1, 2021, Employer will contribute $538.42 toward the monthly <br />single premium and $1,142.53 toward the monthly family premium. <br />b) Effective January 1, 2022, Employer will contribute 100% of the base single plan <br />and $1,142.53 plus 50% of the 2022 premium increase toward the family plan. <br />c) The Employer’s contributions toward the Health Savings Account and the cash <br />option for waiving coverage remain the same. <br />Article 16.4 revised to read: <br />a) Employees must be regularly scheduled to work 30 hours per week to be eligible <br />for all available insurance benefits, on a pro-rated basis. <br /> <br />3. PART-TIME EMPLOYEES: Article 5.2 was removed in entirety. <br /> <br />4. HOLIDAYS: Article 6.1 was revised to include language that employees will be eligible <br />for holiday pay provided they are on paid status on the day before and the day after the <br />holiday. <br /> <br />5. WORKERS’ COMPENSATION: An independent article was created for workers’ <br />compensation. <br /> <br />6. OVERTIME: Article 12.1 was revised to remove overtime in excess of a scheduled 8- <br />hour shift. <br /> <br />7. WORK RULES: Article 17.2 was revised to remove the requirement to post changes of <br />work rules or policies on the bulletin board for a period of 10 consecutive work days. <br />Changes to work rules and policies will be provided to the Union Exclusive <br />Representative and Stewards. <br />
