Lindahl noted that updated information presented is to date and additional <br /> 65 discussions are planned for other zoning ordinance areas in the coming weeks . She <br /> 66 reviewed the schedule going forward anticipating April 2022 council action . <br /> 67 <br /> 68 Mayor Rafferty asked staff to forward the PowerPoint presentation to all council <br /> 69 members . The mayor also noted garage size and the need to look at those regulations <br /> 70 with current conditions and needs in mind . Staff noted that changes will result in <br /> 71 building cost implications . Councilmember Ruhland suggested that needs depend on <br /> 72 individual developments and he isn ' t certain about changing the minimum standards . <br /> 73 Community Development Director Grochala remarked that it makes sense for staff to <br /> 74 look further at the issue with the understanding that there are industry standards . <br /> 75 Councilmember Lyden suggested looking at R- 1 and R- 1 X separately ; form follows <br /> 76 function , <br /> 77 <br /> 78 Mayor Rafferty recommends that all councilmembers take the time to review the redlined <br /> 79 document ; one councilmember asked for a non - redlined version . <br /> 80 2 . American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Eligible Expenditures — Finance Director <br /> 81 Lynch noted her written report which is a quick overview . Staff is still awaiting <br /> 82 information but would like to highlight how staff currently feels the funds could be used <br /> 83 by the City . She noted that staff feels that the former YMCA facility would fall under at <br /> 84 least one of the eligibility criteria . Specific prof ects are not listed as staff is trying to keep <br /> 85 plans high level . More guidance ( from the U . S . Treasury) is coming at the end of the <br /> 86 November . Ms . Lynch remarked that the City is pretty much in the same place as other <br /> 87 cities as they look at plans to utilize the funds . <br /> 2 <br />
