CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO.22-15 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING A <br /> CONTRACT FOR THE ROOKERY FLOORING AND TILING IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, during the December 20, 2021 City Council meeting,the City Council authorized <br /> staff to solicit sealed bids for the installation of flooring and wall tile at the Rookery; and <br /> WHEREAS,the project scope includes ceramic tile being installed in the entrance lobby,main <br /> hallway,men's locker room,women's locker room, and family locker room. Carpet will be <br /> installed in the main vestibule, lobby sitting area, behind the service counter,birthday party <br /> room, and childcare vestibule. In addition,all wall tile will be replaced in the men's locker room, <br /> women's locker room, and family locker room.Removal and disposal of the existing flooring <br /> and wall tile is also included; and <br /> WHEREAS, there were seven bid holders. Two bids were received for the bid opening on <br /> January 13, 2022. Hauglies Flooring, Inc. submitted the low bid of$186,022.45; and <br /> WHEREAS,funding for the project is through ARPA funds. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> The Public Services Director is directed to execute the Contract Agreement between Hauglies <br /> Flooring,Inc. and the City of Lino Lakes for The Rookery Activity Center Flooring and Tiling <br /> Improvements. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24t'day of January, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councimmember <br /> Stoesz and was duly seconded by Councimember Ruhland and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof.
