Open areas landscape standards have been met. <br />Buffer and Screen Standards <br />Buffers will be required for the southeast corner of the parcel to screen the residential use, and <br />the west perimeter to screen the parking lot from the right of way and Lake Drive. Per <br />ordinance, 2 large trees and 6 large shrubs are required per 100 linear feet of building. These <br />plants should be within 30 feet of the building. <br />For 55 linear feet of applicable foundation (the building front), 1 large tree and 3 large shrubs <br />(or acceptable substitutes) are required. The plans indicate 472 large trees and 10 shrubs within <br />30 feet of the building. but it is not on the appheable side. <br />The foundation landscape requirements have not been met. <br />Sod and Ground Cover Standards <br />All areas not otherwise improved in accordance with the approved site plans shall have a <br />minimum depth of 4 inches of topsoil and be sodded including boulevard areas. Seed may be <br />provided in lieu of sod in certain cases, including when the area is adjacent to natural areas or <br />wetlands. <br />The Landscape Plan indicates an approximately 3-foot strip of sod around the entire parking lot <br />and right-of-way area abutting Lake Drive. <br />be used.
