CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM IL <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Sarah Cotton, City Administrator <br />MEETING DATE: February 14, 2022 <br />TOPIC: Consider Approval of Civic Complex Renovation Expenditures <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to consider approval of Civic Complex Renovation Expenditures. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On September 21, 2020, the City Council awarded bids for the 2020 City Hall Renovation <br />Project including General Construction, Flooring, and Interior Furnishings to address COVID-19 <br />related short comings with the existing configuration of the Public Services and Community <br />Development end of City Hall. <br />Staff has obtained quotes to extend the carpet and office furnishings utilized within the 2020 <br />project to the Administrative end of the City Hall, including office spaces and meeting rooms. <br />Funding for this project would be provided through the Bldg & Facilities Fund at a not to exceed <br />amount of $75,000. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending approval of the Civic Complex Renovation Expenditures. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Flooring Estimate <br />Work Station Estimate & Layout <br />
