Evironmental Board <br />July 27, 2016 <br />Page 4 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />Mr. Asleson said that we can recommend the rain garden in the rear of the lots but <br />Community Development would have to see if it will work. It is not a filtration rain <br />garden but it would be a rate control rain garden. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Approve Chavez Preserve with the clarification of wetland issues and recommendations <br />presented in this report and additional recommendations of the Environmental Board. <br /> <br />Ms. Andrzejewski MOTIONED to approve the Chavez Preserve with recommendations. <br />Motion was seconded by Ms. Kaufenberg. Motioned carried 6-0 <br /> <br />B. Eagle Brook Church, Addition Review <br /> <br />The proposal is for a 5574 square ft. addition to the existing church campus. The addition <br />will support the Church technical services. No additional seats will be added to the church <br />worship area. <br /> <br />Nothing has changed with Threatened and Endangered on the site, but within a ¼ mile is <br />the Heron Rookery. <br /> <br />Ms. Bor mentioned that there is a family of Sandhill Cranes in that area as well as Native <br />Americans sites that were assessed during the EAW <br /> <br /> AUAR <br /> <br />The addition to Eagle Brook Church is being reviewed for consistency with the AUAR by <br />WSB. Should be done by August 25 and then the staff will have input <br /> <br />Stormwater <br /> <br />Curve number is 62, after the building it changes to 67. A small stormwater pond is <br />proposed for the site to compensate for the difference in runoff. RCWD and WSB will <br />review for pond design performance requirements. <br /> <br /> Wetlands <br /> <br /> There are no wetland impacts. <br /> <br /> Landscaping <br /> <br />Landscape materials submitted are all appropriate materials and none are invasive. All <br />sodded and turf-seed areas must be irrigated. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bor stated that there is a neighbor to the north and this should be discussed with them. <br />
