N17 <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Dec. Minutes <br />The Dec. 21 meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Chairman Glen Rehbein. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Members present were Glen Rehbein, Jester, Cardinal, Stanley, Bryant & Klepel. <br />Mr. Larry Reginer appeared for information on the procedure necessary to add <br />16 feet to his lot from an adjoining lot. The Chairman read Ordinance 31A and <br />stated that he would need a variance. After further discussions a motion was <br />made by Jester, seconded by Stanley, that we recommend that the Council grant a <br />variance to Mr. Reginer so he can add the south 16 ft of Lot 8, block 6 <br />Lexington Park, Lakeview Addition to his property. <br />In business forwarded from the Cancil, Andy Cardinal reported that the Planning <br />Commission look into the following: <br />1. Study elevation of village for purpose of sewage <br />2. Study village for areas of preliminary zoning such as high class <br />residential, industrial and the practice of building homes on land <br />now zoned commercial. <br />3. Study the possibility of rezoning the corners of interstate highways to <br />commercial. <br />4. The renaming. (or naming) of certain new roads within our village mostly <br />created by the new freeways <br />Representatives of the Carle:r Assoc. (village engineer) appeared and reported on <br />various studies that had been made by them at the requestof previous Councils. <br />The purpose of this was to make the present planning commission aware of these <br />studies, in the event that developers would asl: questions regarding sower, water, <br />etc. Also they made several recommendations as to planning the village. <br />George Gotwaldt made the statement that the planning commission 'should work on a
