J <br />page 2 <br />A letter was received from E.W. and Leo Harris regrding^ the pronosed <br />development of southwest corner of intersection of Main St. and 35 E. The letter <br />requested to °_.t we at this time rezone the property to commercial. Problem of no <br />seers was brought up and a discussion on trailer courts and what would come first <br />in the deveopment. Glen Rehbcin made a motion seconded by Stanley that we recommend <br />that the council consult them and see what they would build first and teen proceed <br />with the rezoning. Carried. <br />Cardinal read thelist of items which Mayor L'Allier outlined as important <br />work for t::e P and Z Board. <br />1. Revision of Ord. 30 to safeguard gainst moving of unsightly- J ldgs into <br />the village. <br />2. Revision of bldg. Ord. 21, Section 4, to insure that any contractor buildig <br />a housing project within the village must allocate a given per centag „e <br />of the land for pall: purposes or t <e equivalent in money for same. <br />3. Completion of the Proposed Thoroughfare Map. <br />4. Complete review of all planning and zoning ordinance regulations. <br />5. Complete review of all existing zoning in the Village in conjunction <br />with the rezoning of industrial areas along the new freeways and on <br />industrial -nark. <br />6. Preparation of a comprehensive zonin', map showing existing zoning. <br />7. Tracings made of both the thoroughfare and zoning maps so they may be <br />duplicated for pros-ective contractors and businessmen. <br />8. Having the F Z Board, working in conjunction with the atty and <br />Engineer, outline on three plat maps the Village streets, dedic:=.ted <br />roadways and ca_rtwsys. <br />Mr. Stanley suggested that we meet one extra tiEe a month solely for the purpose <br />of wor__inl items like thee.
