The May 15 meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Glenn Rehbein; members present were Rehbein, <br />lolling, Stanley, Bryant, Klepel and from the Council Bohjanen, Liason Maher <br />Cardinal. Also Village Attorney Lacher. <br />The P&-Z <br />Roland <br />was informed of the action taken on the Johnson property,that in <br />a joint meeting with the engineer on May 2, the Engineer recommended we not <br />grant a permit. The council at its meeting voted not to grant the permit. <br />An open hearing was held for the Capital Motel homes' intent to purchase <br />the present 49 Trailer Court.Attorney Locher said that all the legal <br />requirements had been met for the open hearing (posting, etc.) <br />The P&aZ was shown a drawing of the site which had lots laid out for the <br />new development, but just a blank space for the existing court. The Pd&Z <br />expressed concern. a more exact plan as to redevelopment of the existing <br />trailer court. <br />Mr. Leonard Maleoha (an adjoining property owner) said he would like to see <br />a fence on the south lino. Two residents of the existing trailer park were <br />present, they asked if children would be ppermitted. It was stated by the <br />prospective owner thatshe wouldn't kick anyone out for having too many <br />children, but she indicated there would be a maximum limit per family, <br />at leas) for the new residents. <br />She also indicated she would have 40 x 80 lot size. The minimum lot sizeder <br />our code is 45 x 60 and a min. of 3,000 Aq ft per lot. After discussion by <br />the Bka and Village Attorney it was stated she would need a variance for this. <br />On a motion by lolling, seconded by Klepel, the hearing was adjourned until <br />May 27th at7 p.m. because of inadequate plans.
