Mr. Kelling moved to table the trailer court matter until the subject could be <br />discussed with school board members of both districts in the Village. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jester. Carried. <br />7880 Groveland Rd., Mpls 32, Minn. <br />Ir. Chuck Larson, representing himself (Chas., Inc.) appeared to discuss <br />another trailer court which would be located on the present Fred Rehbein <br />property. (42 1/2 acres) There would be multiple dwellings, commercial <br />buildings and 188 mobile home spaces. Mr. Kelling made a motion to table <br />the matter for future discussion. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Carried. <br />Mr. Kelling will contact members from both Forest Lake and Centennial schools <br />to try and set up a meeting for July 31st. <br />Mr. Kelling moved to ask the Council if the Deputy Clerk could take minutes <br />for the Planning and Zoning Board at her regular hourly wage. Seconded by <br />Mr,. Brovold. Carried. Mr. Rehbein mentioned that it is difficult for a <br />member of the P&Z to take the minutes, participate in discussion, and vote <br />on motions all at the same time. <br />qua Floats was discussed. Mr. Cardinal mentioned Lhat Mr. Claggett bad been <br />before the Council and had stated that he had a Special Use Permit to operate <br />his business. (No one on the Board had seen this permit.) Mr. Claggett had <br />told the Council that he is willing to rezone and that he plans to do more <br />building. Mr. Kelling mentioned that he would like to see the business stay <br />on the special use permit, because the Council would have more control over <br />this than they would have if the land were rezoned commercial. <br />Mr. Rehbein mentioned, along with other Board members, several house trailers <br />in the Village which should be brought to the Council's attention. Those <br />mentioned were: <br />1. One on highway 8 next to basement house <br />2. One on Fourth Avenue <br />3. One on Orange Street owned by Ed Schwankel which is being <br />rented out and has been there for two years. <br />The Board would like a report from the Council on these trailers. <br />Mr. Rehbein stated that Kenneth Rehbein has been operating a "riding stable" <br />without a permit. Mr. Locher mentioned that even though they don't, charge <br />admission it is still considered a commercial operation. Mr. Locher will <br />check on horse shows going on without a permit. Mr. Rehbein expressed <br />concern about various things going on in the Village which are against <br />the ordinances and said that they should not be allowed to continue. <br />Mr. Kelling made a motion to adjourn at 9:40 P.M.
