Canopy Cover <br />Canopy cover standards require a minimum of 40% canopy coverage. <br />Vehicular hardscape planned: 9,147 sq. ft. <br />Canopy cover requirement: 3,659 sq. ft. <br />Canopy cover provided: 6,325 sq. ft. <br />Canopy cover requirements have been met. <br />Foundation Landscaping <br />Foundation Landscaping standards apply to building fronts and sides facing public or <br />private streets. Two (2) large trees and 6 large shrubs are required per 100 linear feet of <br />building. These plants should be within 30 feet of the building. <br />The applicable building face is the west face, which is approximately 40 ft. One (1) large <br />tree and 3 large shrubs are required. Two (2) medium trees (equivalent to 1 large tree) <br />and 12 medium shrubs (equivalent to 9 large shrubs) are provided. <br />Foundation landscaping requirements have been met. <br />Boulevard Trees <br />Boulevard trees are not required for commercial developments. <br />Sod and Ground Cover <br />The plan indicates 8 inches of topsoil for all unpaved disturbed areas. Sod will be <br />installed around the parking lot, north of the parking access road, and in the disturbed <br />area east of the building addition. <br />The landscape contractor will be providing an irrigation plan to the applicant that <br />provides for proper irrigation of all planted trees, shrubs, and sod. <br />Sod and ground cover standards are met. <br />Signage <br />A Sign Permit Application and sign plans shall be submitted for any wall or ground <br />mount signage. <br />Impervious Surface Coverage <br />6 <br />
