Ms. Katie Larsen <br />5/4/2022 <br />Page 2 <br />• Grading & Stormwater Management <br />The Otter Lake Animal Care Center will require site grading for the proposed building <br />expansion, the proposed pond adjustments, and the proposed parking lot. <br />The proposed project is within the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD). Stormwater <br />BMPs are needed to meet City stormwater requirements. The applicant is proposing to meet <br />City stormwater requirements by utilizing a pond previously constructed. The design of the <br />ponds shall meet the requirements of Table 6 of the City's Stormwater Management <br />ordinance. <br />Comments: <br />1. (8/7/2019) Revise the grading plan to eliminate the encroachment onto the <br />property to the north. <br />Response: We cannot remove grading to the north as the basin needs to be <br />dredged to reach its full storage and a new skimmer structure needs to be <br />constructed on the outlet, which is on the north property.
