Post Construction Services (2-Year Warranty Inspection) a) The work will be specified with a standard 2-year warranty. It is critical to inspect a water tower just prior to the end of the 2-year warranty period because coatings that fail within 2-years will likely continue to fail after the warranty expires. A certified NACE inspector will conduct the warranty inspection to identify defects with the interior wet coatings. The interior dry and exterior coatings will also be inspected. An inspection report will be prepared, and the Contractor will be notified to repair any defects that are identified during the 2-year warranty inspection. Post construction inspection services for repair work are not included in this proposal but can be provided for additional fees if the Contractor is required to make warranty repairs if requested by the City. Schedule We will begin the construction phase services immediately after authorization. The proposed schedule includes the following milestone dates: Task Dates Substantial Completion August 15, 2022 Final Completion Sept mber 12, 2022 Post Construction (Warranty Inspection) August 15, 2024 Estimated Fees WSB and KLM will complete the proposed design and bidding services for an hourly, not -to -exceed cost of $127,544.00. We estimated the following fees for this project based on a 12-week construction period. Actual charges will be based on the time required for each task during the construction phase. Additional services, if requested and approved by the City, will be invoiced on the basis of actual hours spent at current billing rates. All services will be invoiced monthly.
