4 3/15/72 <br />PCA approval. They are not encroaching on the lake and the later fill is <br />primarily lumber. The County plans to investigate again. They noted the <br />lumber is on top and should have been on the bottom, but substantial coverage <br />will make it ok. It was noted that there should be fencing around the <br />parking area so no one drives into the lake, Mrs. Swanson wondered why there <br />was no cable connecting the posts in this area. Mr. Locher said they have <br />been having an awful time getting the State to cooperate there and it is their <br />job. Mr. Marier is going to bring this to the attention of the Council and <br />advise that a letter be directed to Mr, Kowalsky in this regard. <br />Mr. Locher advised that the people representing the Riding Stable on Birch St. <br />did not show up at the last Council meeting and they have been issued a ticket <br />for renting snowmobiles. <br />A copy of a letter was received by Mr. Locher, with original going to Mrs. <br />Lillian Wilson, from Mr. Hutchinaon's office, dated Feb. 23, 1972, advising <br />her that the building still has not be ascertained. <br />A special P810 meeting was set for Wednesday, March 29th, to discuss minimum <br />building sizes, such as single family, townhouses, etc. <br />Mr. Hill advised of Mr. Marier, Mr, Dupre and himself going to check on a <br />two car garage, Gerald Hopkins wanted to bring into the Village. They de- <br />cided upon inspection it was not up to our specifications and would be too <br />costly for the owner to bring them up. They denied it. <br />Mr. Locher advised that the Richard Roberts hog farm was inspected March 2, <br />1972. There were about 25 cattle and about 100 hogs present. The hogs were <br />confined to three separate locations. Mr. Robert's son advised that they <br />were feeding grain, etc.and "a little garbage ". He indicated they were <br />going to market soon. NEC. r Roberts is to report to the Council next month. <br />Roger Barnes and Mr. Myrum want to convert the use of their property from <br />that of a furnace repair to a used car sales. They were going to be here to- <br />night but didn't show up. <br />Mr. Locher said he had talked to Mr, Tagg just before he left this evening <br />and he said Victor A. Peterson would like to buy 20 acres on the north end <br />of his farm. He would want to store metal building components, etc., there. <br />He was to be on the agenda tonight but didn't come. <br />Mr. Shearen moved to adjourn at 10 :30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Hill, Carried <br />unanimously.
