Page Two <br />Mr. McLean read a letter from the State of Minnesota Department of Highways, dated October 26th, 1972, regarding right -of -ways on Highway 49. It was <br />pointed out that a number of residents along 49 are actually landlocked. It was decided there isn't any action to be taken by the Board, this wasjustfortheirinformation. <br />Mr. Hill brought out the possibility of having snowmobile clubs hand out <br />literature telling people to stay out of posted fields and ask for permissionbeforecrossingproperties. He noted a farm next to him where signs havebeenpostedbecauseofanalfalfafield. Mr. Marier said he would mentionthistotheDrifters, inasmuch as they have been most cooperative in thepast. <br />The Comprehensive Plan was discussed briefly. The Clerk was asked to haveMr. Van Housen attend the next meeting to get at the preliminaries. This <br />will be a work meeting. Mr. Marier pointed out there is money in thebudgetforbrochures, If the sewer becomes a reality, we should have thisPlanfirst. It was suggested that the agenda be kept at a minimum. <br />Mr. Marier pointed out that it has been suggested that the EnvironmentalCommissioncombinewiththeP &Z for meetings. The general consensus was <br />that meetings would be too long, there would be too many members to deal <br />effectively, there would be too many subjects to handle. Mr. Shearen <br />moved to recommend that the Environmental Group stay as a separate entityfromP &Z. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Shearen moved to adjourn at 8:45 P. M. Seconded by Mr. Hill. Carried. <br />a
