1
1
DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
May 9, 1990
The Strausses originally owned a ten acre parcel that they
sold to Marcel Eibensteiner and now is included in Parkview
Estates. The Strausses obtained two lots. Their current
residence is on one lot. They wish to build a house on the
other lot.
The Strausses visited with Pete Kluegel, the Building
Official and John Miller and they suggested that the
Strausses do one of the following:
1. Take the garage and attach it to the home. Pete
Kluegel said that this can be done.
2. Call the used house people and they could sell the
garage for $1,500. This would not be near what has
been invested in the three year old garage.
3. Tear it down - no return on the investment of the
structure.
Mr. Miller stated that the best option is to attach it to the
house. For the board to vary on this regulation would be
setting precedence.
Fred Chase explained that in order for the board to act on
this issue they would have to apply formally with a variance.
Mr. Chase added that the board does agree with Mr. Miller,
and the board probably would not approve the variance.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
Page 9
