DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
May 9, 1990
residence in the Lino Air Park. The street address is 359
Thomas Street. The Gages operate a day care facility for 12
children. They are requesting a conditional use permit that
would allow the applicants to provide care for 14 children.
The city's role here is control of land use not determining
what should be done in the area of health and safety. In
effect then, there is little if anything the city can do in
these requests.
MOTION: Robert Kin7 moved to recommend approval to the city
council of Application #90 -24 to grant a conditional use
permit to Sharon Gage for the operation of a day care
facility for 14 children at 359 Thomas Street.
