1
1
DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
July 11, 1990
REVIEW OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
Mr. Miller stated that one of the Metropolitan Council's
contingencies for changing and expanding the MUSA boundary
was that Lino Lakes revise its comprehensive plan.
Each board member received a rough draft of a proposed
comprehensive plan. Mr. Miller is asking the board members
to go over the plan and make any changes that they would like
to see in Lino Lakes.
John Miller asked that the board members spend a fair amount
of time reviewing this.
This item will be discussed at the August design review board
meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
John Miller approached the board. He stated that this issue
is regarding Rick Carlson and PineRidge Subdivision.
Mr. Carlson is attempting to close on the Soukop property.
Before he can close on this property he must secure title.
The applicant is requesting a minor subdivision dividing the
large parcel into two parcels. One of the parcels includes
the Soukop residence and the other parcel will be the future
site of PineRidge.
MOTION: John Bergeson moved to recommend to the city council
approval of a minor subdivision for Rick Carlson to create
two parcels of land (parcel A & B as outlined in the plan) in
the North West Quarter of the North West Quarter of Section
32. Mr. King seconded the motion and the motion was approved
unanimously.
Mr. King moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Bergeson seconded
the motion.
