PETERSON
dba EMTECH, INC.
DRB APPLICATION 91 -36
Mr. Marvin Peterson addressed the board. Mr. Petersons' company,
Emtech, Inc. is a manufacturer of precision machined products. The
business wishes to locate on a 2.56 parcel of land, that is zoned
"LI" light industrial, at the south end of Fourth Avenue and 74th
Street which abuts I -35W.
Mr. Peterson introduced his architect from the firm of Ekberg
Associates Architects. The architect displayed a site plan for
Emtech, Inc. He described the different portions of the building,
landscaping, drainage, parking, driveways and signage. He
described future expansion for both the building and parking.
John Bergeson asked if this was on the paved portion of 74th
Street, yes it is.
Fred Chase raised an issue. That the drainage ditch lacks
screening for the future development next door. The architect said
Emtech decided to wait until grading from other developments is in
and then they can add spruce trees.
John Miller added that they neglected to look at the mechanical
"stuff ", including heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The
architect said that part is not final as yet, but would be
screened. John Miller added that driveway on the east appears to
be dangerous and may have to be moved.
4
1
1
1
