Planning & Zoning Board <br />September 10, 2014 <br />Page 4 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />1. Pond Area = 3,130 s.f / 2 = 1.57 = 2 <br />2. 2 large trees + 6 large shrubs required <br />iv. Seven (7) existing remaining trees satisfy requirements for both Tree <br />Preservation and Open Area Landscaping trees <br />v. Six (6) shrubs required. <br />b. In addition, the following revisions are required to the Landscape Plan: <br />i. The existing trees shall be shown on the plan. <br />ii. The proposed lilac bushes shall be relocated outside of the drainage and <br />utility easement and into front or side yards. <br />iii. Notes #2, 3 and 4 shall be omitted. <br />iv. Plan should be reviewed for typographical errors. <br />10. Final Plat <br />a. Adequate drainage and utility easement shall be provided for stormwater pond <br />in rear yards. <br />b. Proposed iron pipe monuments shall be shown. <br />c. Dates with 200___ shall be revised to 20____. <br /> <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 5 - 0. (Tralle abstained.) <br /> <br /> <br />6. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Zoning Ordinance Re-numeration Codification <br /> <br />Michael Grochala, Community Development Director, informed the board that city staff <br />is working to amend the city’s zoning ordinance into the format of the city code. He <br />explained that the process will not include any text changes within the ordinance other <br />than a new numbering system at this time. <br /> <br />B. Project Updates <br /> <br />Katie Larsen, City Planner, provided an update of current city projects. <br /> <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 6:59 p.m. Motion was supported <br />by Mr. Laden. Motion carried 5 - 0.
