Ms. Philippi noted a new organics enclosure for Sunrise Park is in the early <br />planning stages, and its construction would be dependent upon a County grant <br />program for funding. <br /> <br />C. General Updates <br /> <br />Andy Nelson, Environmental Coordinator, informed the Board the City received a <br />$10,000 grant from Anoka County and Minnesota Waste Wise in order to equip the <br />Rookery with solid waste, organics, and recycling bins. Mr. Nelson also stated on <br />June 27, 2022, Bald Eagle Boulevard was temporarily closed in order to remove <br />around 10 dead ash trees. On Woodridge Lane, a willow tree was removed in order <br />to clear a storm drain outlet. Mr. Nelson gave the Board a verbal update regarding <br />the EAB grant. He also shared the City received a clean water grant to purchase 160 <br />to 180 smart irrigation controllers. <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Schwartz made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 7:49 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Ms. Buchmeier.
