All <br />switch legends shall have backlighting provided. <br />SWITCHES RIGHT PANEL <br />The right dash panel shall include three (3) rocker switch positions in the upper right hand portion of the <br />panel. <br />A rocker switch with a blank legend installed directly above shall be provided for any position without a <br />switch and legend designated by a specific option. The non -specified switches shall be two -position, <br />black switches with a green indicator light. Each blank switch legend can be custom engraved by the <br />body manufacturer. All switch legends shall have backlighting provided. <br />SEAT BELT WARNING <br />A Weldon seat belt warning system, integrated with the Vehicle Data Recorder system, shall be installed <br />for each seat within the cab. The system shall provide a visual warning indicator in the Vista display and <br />control screen(s). <br />The warning system shall activate when any seat is occupied with a minimum of 60 pounds, the <br />corresponding seat belt remains unfastened, and the park brake is released. The warning system shall also <br />activate when any seat is occupied, the corresponding seat belt was fastened in an incorrect sequence, <br />and the park brake is released. Once activated, the visual indicators and applicable audible alarm shall <br />remain active until all occupied seats have the seat belts fastened. <br />SEAT MATERIAL <br />The Bostrom Firefighter seats shall include a covering of extra high strength, wear resistant fabric made <br />of durable low seam Durawear P1usTM ballistic polyester. A PVC coating shall be bonded to the back <br />side of the material to help protect the seats from UV rays and from being saturated or contaminated by <br />fluids. Durawear P1usTM meets or exceeds specification of the common trade name Imperial 1800. The <br />material meets FMVSS 302 flammability requirements. <br />If applicable, Theatre style seats located in the cab shall be high strength, wear resistant fabric made of <br />durable ballistic polyester. A PVC coating shall be bonded to the back side of the material to help <br />protect the seats from UV rays and from being saturated or contaminated by fluids. Common trade <br />names for this material are Imperial 1200 and Durawear. <br />SEAT COLOR <br />All seats supplied with the chassis shall be black in color. All seats shall include red seat belts. <br />SEAT BACK LOGO <br />The seat back shall include the "Spartan" logo. The logo shall be centered on the standard headrest of <br />the seat back and on the left side of a split headrest. <br />SEAT DRIVER <br />The driver's seat shall be an H.O. Bostrom 500 Series Firefighter Sierra model seat with air suspension. <br />The four-way seat shall feature a 3.00 inches vertical travel air suspension and manual fore and aft <br />adjustment with 5.00 inches of travel. The suspension control shall be located on the seat below the left <br />front corner of the bottom cushion.
