Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />The cab sides shall include two (2) Whelen M6 Super LED warning lights, one (1) on each side. The <br />lights shall feature multiple flash patterns including steady burn for solid colors and multiple flash <br />patterns for split colors. The lights shall be mounted to the sides of the cab within a chrome bezel. <br />SIDE WARNING LIGHTS COLOR <br />The warning lights located on the left side of the cab shall be red in color and the warning lights located <br />on the right side of the cab shall be blue in color. <br />SIDE WARNING LIGHTS LOCATION <br />The warning lights on the side of the cab shall be mounted over the front wheel well directly over the <br />center of the front axle. <br />SIDE AND INTERSECTION WARNING SWITCH <br />The side warning lights shall be controlled through a virtual button on the Vista display and control <br />screen. This button shall be clearly labeled for identification. <br />ROTO-RAYS WARNING LIGHT <br />A Roto-Rays® warning light shall be provided on the cab. The Roto-Rays light shall consist of three (3) <br />round chrome heads, each equipped with an LED light. The LED lights shall be one (1) red, one (1) blue, <br />and one (1) green in color. The Roto-Rays light shall be installed on the top center of the cab front fascia <br />using a custom bracket. <br />When activated, the entire light head assembly shall rotate at 200 RPM. <br />ROTO-RAYS WARNING LIGHT SWITCH <br />The Roto-Rays® front warning light(s) shall be separately controlled through a virtual button on the <br />Vista display and control screen. When the parking brake is engaged the light shall stop rotating. <br />SIREN CONTROL HEAD <br />A Whelen 295SLSA1 electronic siren control head with hard wired microphone shall be mounted in the <br />cab dash center panel in a location specified by the customer. The siren shall offer a selectable 100 or <br />200-watt output, radio broadcast, public address, and seventeen (17) Scan -Lock siren tones and hands <br />free operation which shall allow the operator to turn the siren on and off from the steering wheel horn <br />ring if a horn/siren selector switch option is also selected. The siren circuitry shall be placed behind the <br />rocker switch panels under the electrical cover with a 30.00 inch loop for the OEM to route as desired. <br />STEERING WHEEL HORN BUTTON SELECTOR SWITCH <br />A rocker switch shall be installed in the switch panel between the driver and officer to allow control of <br />either the electric horn or the mechanical siren. The electric horn shall sound by default when the <br />selector switch is in either position to meet FMCSA requirements. <br />AUDIBLE WARNING RH FOOT SWITCH <br />A foot switch wired to actuate the mechanical siren(s) shall be supplied for installation in the front <br />section of the cab for officer actuation. <br />MECHANICAL SIREN FOOT SWITCH RH <br />07/26/22 <br />-57- <br />
