Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Stop Engine <br />Turn Signal On <br />Water in Fuel <br />The GIC shall allow the user to configure settings through an on -screen menu. The following settings <br />shall be adjustable by the user: <br />• Distance/Speed Units — English (miles/MPH) or metric (kilometers/KPH) <br />• Temperature Units — degrees Fahrenheit (°F) or degrees Celsius (°C) <br />• Pressure Units — pounds per square inch (PSI) or kilopascals (kPA) <br />• Odometer/Trip odometer —chose which odometer is displayed and reset trip odometers <br />• Display Brightness — adjust brightness levels for both day and night settings <br />• Volume — adjust volume of display speaker <br />• Auxiliary Gauges — configure location of auxiliary gauges <br />The GIC shall include on -screen control of the diesel particulate filter (DPF). The GIC shall be capable <br />of initiating and halting a manual DPF regeneration cycle. Also, the GIC shall be capable of inhibiting <br />DPF regeneration when not desired by the operator. <br />The GIC shall be capable of displaying detailed diagnostic information. Diagnostic information screens <br />shall only be accessible when the park brake is set to prevent unsafe operation of the vehicle. The <br />following information shall be available through the on -screen menu: <br />• On -Board Diagnostics (OBD) faults — display of all active OBD faults, including the system <br />reporting the fault, the suspect parameter number (SPN), and the failure mode identifier (FMI) <br />• Messages— display a list of all active warning messages and the status of alarms <br />• Vehicle Info — display of broadcast chassis information, including Vehicle Identification Number <br />(VIN) <br />• Pump Interlocks — display pump interlocks status, engine speed, and transmission output speed <br />• Input/Output Diagnostics — display the state of all wired inputs and outputs to the GIC, as well as <br />rotary/joystick control diagnostics <br />• Symbol Legend — display a glossary of all symbols and icons used on the GIC <br />• J1939 Databus Info — display a list of all electronic control units (ECUs) communicating on the <br />vehicle J1939 databus and display a list of all current message data on J1939 <br />BACKLIGHTING COLOR <br />The digital dash instrumentation gauges shall display in white and the switch panel legends shall be <br />backlit using red LED backlighting. <br />CAMERA REAR <br />One (1) Audiovox Voyager heavy duty box shaped HD camera shall be shipped loose for OEM <br />installation in the body to afford the driver a clear view to the rear of the vehicle. <br />The camera system shall include a one-way communication device that shall be an integral part of the <br />rear camera for the use of voice commands directly to the driver. The rear camera display shall activate <br />when the vehicle's transmission is placed in reverse. <br />CAMERA DISPLAY <br />07/26/22 <br />-61- <br />
