Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />The camera system shall display on the digital dash. The camera system display can be activated through <br />the digital dash control knob. <br />CAMERA SPEAKER <br />The rear camera shall be wired to speaker(s) in the cab and shall audible to the driver and officer. There <br />shall be a virtual button provided on the Vista display and control panel to deactivate the speaker(s). <br />COMMUNICATION ANTENNA <br />An antenna base, for use with an NMO type antenna, shall be mounted on the left hand front corner of <br />the cab roof so not to interfere with light bars or other roof mounted equipment installed by chassis <br />builder. The antenna base shall be an Antenex model MABVT8 made for either a 0.38 inch or 0.75 inch <br />receiving hole in the antenna and shall include 17 foot of RG58 A/U cable with no connector at the radio <br />end of the cable. The antenna base design provides the most corrosion resistance and best power transfer <br />available from a high temper all brass construction and gold plated contact design. The antenna base shall <br />be chassis builder supplied. <br />COMMUNICATION ANTENNA CABLE ROUTING <br />The antenna cable shall be routed from the antenna base mounted on the roof to the area behind and <br />underneath the right hand front seat. <br />AUXILIARY COMMUNICATION ANTENNA <br />An auxiliary antenna base, for use with and NMO type antenna, shall be installed on the cab. The <br />antenna base shall be an Antenex model MABVT8 and shall include 17.00 foot of RG58 A/U cable with <br />no connector at the radio end of the cable. The antenna shall be mounted on the right hand front corner of <br />the cab roof so not to interfere with light bars or other roof mounted equipment installed by chassis <br />builder. The antenna base shall be chassis builder supplied. <br />AUXILIARY COMMUNICATION ANTENNA CABLE ROUTING <br />The auxiliary antenna cable shall be routed from the antenna base mounted on the roof to the area behind <br />and underneath the right hand front seat. <br />TWO-WAY RADIOS <br />A radio wire conduit with a pull wire included shall be installed and routed from behind the dash to <br />under the officer's seat for radio installation by the customer. The officer's under seat storage area shall <br />include an access hole for the conduit cut into the rear face of the seat box. The hole shall be <br />approximately 1.00 inch from the bottom and 1.00 from the inner wall of the seat box. <br />CAB EXTERIOR PROTECTION <br />The cab face shall have a removable plastic film installed over the painted surfaces to protect the paint <br />finish during transport to the body manufacturer. <br />FIRE EXTINGUISHER <br />A 2.50 pound D.O.T approved fire extinguisher with BC rating shall be shipped loose with the cab. <br />DOOR KEYS <br />07/26/22 <br />-62- <br />
