Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />TIRE PRESSURE WARNING DEVICE, LED CAPS FOR 6 TIRES <br />There shall be a VECSAFE LED, tire alert pressure management system furnished that shall monitor <br />each tire's pressure. A chrome plated brass sensor shall be furnished on the valve stem of each tire for a <br />total of six (6) tires. The sensor shall activate an integral battery -operated LED when the pressure of a <br />tire drops 8 PSI, from the nominal pressure when the cap was installed. Removing the cap from the <br />sensor shall indicate the functionality of the sensor and battery. If the sensor and battery are in working <br />condition, the LED shall immediately start blinking. <br />DRIVELINE JOINTS,1810 SPICER (18T-Meritor) <br />The lower level driveline joints, ahead of and behind the fire pump transmission shall be Spicer 1810 <br />series or Meritor 18T equivalent. Driveline to be dynamically balanced and equipped with Glide Coat or <br />equivalent spline joints. <br />MUD FLAPS <br />Driver's side and passenger's side front fender and rear body wheel well mud flaps shall be furnished, <br />made of fabric reinforced neoprene rubber, bolted to the front fender liner and rear wheel well bulkheads <br />using stainless steel strap brackets and bolts. Mud flaps shall extend approximately 10" below running <br />board level. <br />HELMET STORAGE <br />The customer shall store the firefighter's helmets inside one of the apparatus body compartments, during <br />road travel. <br />OVERHEAD CABINETS <br />Two (2) overhead cabinets shall be furnished, located outboard of SGM ceiling mounted HVAC housing, <br />below ceiling and above drain line cross -member. <br />Cabinets shall be fabricated of .125" smooth aluminum with DA interior and exterior painted to match <br />cab interior. <br />Cabinet dimensions shall be 19" wide x 21" tall x 18" deep. <br />Openings shall be covered by lift up doors with gags struts and single center mounted trigger latch. <br />Doors shall have 14" wide x 6" tall upper row of laser cut mesh for ventilation. <br />LIGHTING <br />07/26/22 <br />-67- <br />
