Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Cabinet interior shall be equipped with 1 ea. small clear LED light, activated with park brake set. <br />CHASSIS CAB OUTBOARD REAR CORNER EMS CABINETS <br />Two (2) forward facing storage cabinets to be furnished, mounted in the rear cab area at outboard corners <br />of driver side rear wall and passenger side rear wall, flanking the specified centerline interior Top -Mount <br />Pump Control Panel. The cabinets are to be 20" wide x 13" deep x at least 24" high (to bottom of side <br />facing cab windows. Cabinets shall be equipped with a full height vertically hinged single panel door <br />with trigger latch, interior lighting, and one (1) adjustable shelf. Final configuration to be submitted to <br />and approved by the Purchaser. <br />NFPA REQUIRED TESTING OF APPARATUS NOISE LEVELS <br />The completed apparatus shall be "Noise Level Tested" to be in compliance with NFPA standards in <br />effect on the day of purchase, Noise level testing shall be of the particular apparatus, not of a similar <br />series or model, and shall be accomplished just prior to delivery to the customer. <br />MODIFICATIONS TO CHASSIS, TO BE PROVIDED BY BODY BUILDER: <br />The following special modifications are to be performed by the Fire Apparatus Body <br />Builder/Manufacturer, on the specified fire apparatus Truck Cab and Chassis. <br />GOVERNOR TEST, FRAME RAIL PROTECTION & ATTACHMENT STANDARDS: <br />SPEED GOVERNOR TEST <br />Engine limiting speed governor is to be tested, upon arrival at the Body Builder's factory for compliance <br />with the maximum no-load engine operating speed, as determined on appropriate engine power curve <br />sheet. <br />SUSPENSION AND FRAME CORROSION PROTECTION <br />Rear axle suspension brackets left and right sides, front and rear, are to be caulked with silicone sealant <br />preventing build-up of road salts and moisture that may cause future corrosion of bracket -to -frame -rail <br />attachment points. <br />FRAME RAIL MOUNTING PROCEDURE <br />All chassis frame rail mounted brackets, supports, pump flanges, and apparatus body sub -frame <br />components are to be bolted to the frame rail sides. No holes are to be drilled in the frame flanges, only <br />the web may be drilled. No welding will be allowed to the chassis frame, web, or flanges, ahead of the <br />rear most spring shackles. Frame flange sandwich clamping devices (such as U-bolts) are not to be used. <br />07/26/22 <br />-68- <br />
