Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />The pump is to be performance tested by Waterous, at the above pressures and capacities, and also 10 <br />minutes hydrostatically at a pressure of 600 PSI. Certification by Waterous is to be provided in delivery <br />manual. <br />OEM PERFORMANCE TEST <br />Apparatus Manufacturer's pump performance test is to be performed after construction. Factory <br />certification to be provided in delivery manual. <br />PUMP TEST DATA PLATE, SINGLE STAGE PUMPS <br />The pump operator's panel be provided with a metal data plate listing the flow performance <br />demonstrated at test pressures, together with the RPM of the engine at said pressures and deliveries. Data <br />plate is to be mounted in clear view of the pump operator's standing position. Test data plate is to also <br />indicate pump serial number and engine governed speed for all four (4) individual pump rating tests.. <br />PUMP INSTRUCTION MANUALS <br />Two (2), Waterous Operator's Manuals, both in a digital CD format, are to be provided upon delivery of <br />the apparatus. Manuals are to be pump model and serial number specific, and are to include but not be <br />limited to operation procedures, maintenance (lubrication), and illustrated parts break -downs. <br />PUMP WARRANTY <br />Please refer to the specification Warranty Section, for Waterous Fire Pump Warranty being furnished. <br />PUMP SEALS <br />"Mechanical" pump seal assemblies to be furnished, with the specified full -body centrifugal pump, <br />self-adjusting type, maintenance free. <br />PUMP DRAIN MANIFOLD <br />Waterous manifold drain valve, with bronze body and stainless plunger shall be furnished mounted on <br />pump transmission and operated by a push-pull cable with chrome plated T-handle control on pump <br />panel. Drain valve shall be piped with high pressure nylon tubing, to low points of pump suction and <br />discharge cavities to allow simultaneous draining through a single drain valve. <br />FLAME PLATED IMPELLER HUBS <br />Flame plated impeller hubs shall be furnished, on specified midship style pump, along with labyrinth <br />style seal rings. <br />VPO PRIMING PUMP <br />07/26/22 <br />-73- <br />
