Written load analysis of 12-volt electrical system as installed by body builder. <br />A test data plate shall be provided at the pump operator's position which gives the rated discharges and <br />pressures together with the speed of the engine as is determined by the manufacturer's test for this <br />particular unit. Plate shall also include delivery date, pump serial number(s), original Customer, and the <br />apparatus manufacturer's serial number. <br />FIRE PUMP SYSTEM <br />PUMP AND PUMP TRANSMISSION <br />PUMP <br />A 2000 gallon per minute, Waterous model CSUC20-2000, Class A, single -stage centrifugal iron body - <br />rear drive fire truck pump is to be furnished, mounted "mid -ship" of the vehicle immediately ahead of the <br />compartments and water tank. The pump transmission gear ratio must allow the pump to deliver the <br />percentage of rated capacity at discharge pressures indicated below, while the drive engine is running in <br />its peak performance range/RPM: <br />100 percent of rated capacity at 150 pounds net pressure <br />100 percent of rated capacity at 165 pounds net pressure <br />70 percent of rated capacity at 200 pounds net pressure <br />50 percent of rated capacity at 250 pounds net pressure <br />PUMP TRANSMISSION <br />Pump transmission to be Waterous C-20, "chain -drive" style to provide smooth quiet transmission of <br />power. Transmission "drop" will be of proper dimension to allow for optimum driveline angles. <br />Extra heavy duty 2.35" x 46" involute spline pump driveline to be furnished for high torque engine <br />applications. <br />SEPARABLE IMPELLER SHAFT <br />A separable impeller shaft will be furnished to allow removal of the pump transmission, separate from <br />the pump body, while the pump body remains undisturbed on the apparatus. <br />ADDITIONAL FEATURES <br />Additional pump features will include: dual -suction bronze replaceable impeller and impeller seal rings, <br />stainless steel impeller shaft, grease lubricated front and oil lubricated rear roller bearings, and <br />horizontally split main pump body.
