Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Running boards shall be at least 10" deep, bolted to and easily removable from the lower pump <br />compartment module. Running boards shall be fabricated of tailboard matching material, furnished with <br />non -slip grip -pattern top step surface. <br />Running boards shall be "in -line" with the specified lower cab steps and body side rubrails. <br />OPERATOR'S PLATFORM <br />The standing operator's platform shall be located inside the rear portion of the chassis cab. <br />ENCLOSURE OF DRIVER SIDE SIDE PUMP PANEL & INLETS/OUTLETS <br />The driver side pump panel shall be fully enclosed on top, sides, bottom, and outboard. The exterior <br />surface of the pump panel enclosure shall extend out 50" from the vehicle's centerline, so as to be "flush" <br />with the apparatus body exterior side. <br />Full height front and rear enclosure corners, and full width top enclosure roof shall be provided, with <br />minimum width/height integral door jambs and replaceable weatherstripping. The driver side pump panel <br />running board shall consist of a full width "sweep -out" enclosure floor, raised at least 1" above the <br />bottom door opening. Running board/floor shall extend out below the compartment door, with 3" flange <br />down, and shall be provided with an apparatus body matching rubrail. <br />The outboard door opening of the pump operator's panel enclosure shall be equipped with a "roll -up" <br />style door. Door shall be shutter style (same manufacturer and finish as the specified body compartment <br />side doors), complete with: extruded aluminum shutter slats, bar style bottom rail latch, anodized <br />extruded aluminum vertical side tracks with removable neoprene rubber weatherstripping, overhead door <br />seal with removable neoprene rubber weatherstripping, and a spring loaded "front roll" door lift/roll-up <br />mechanism. <br />NOTE: The interior depth of the pump operator's panel enclosure (inboard door panel to pump panel) <br />shall be adequate to allow room for the specified pump discharge outlet and suction inlet extensions, <br />stacked adapters, and closures, with the roll -up door closed. <br />OVERHEAD RISER PANEL, INLINE WITH BODY HOSE BED RISER PANEL <br />A longitudinal riser panel is to be provided, inline with and matching height of apparatus body hose bed <br />riser panel. <br />Riser panel to be constructed of type 304 stainless steel, matching the pump module material. <br />ENCLOSURE OF PASSENGER SIDE PUMP PANEL and INLETS/OUTLETS <br />The passenger side pump panel shall be fully enclosed on top, sides, bottom, and outboard. The exterior <br />surface of the pump panel enclosure shall extend out 50" from the vehicle's centerline, so as to be "flush" <br />with the apparatus body exterior side. <br />07/26/22 <br />-83- <br />
