Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Full height front and rear enclosure corners, and full width top enclosure roof shall be provided, with <br />minimum width/height integral door jambs and replaceable weatherstripping. The passenger side pump <br />panel running board shall consist of a full width "sweep -out" enclosure floor, raised at least V above the <br />bottom door opening. Running board/floor shall extend out below the compartment door, with 3" flange <br />down, and shall be provided with an apparatus body matching rubrail. <br />The outboard door opening of the pump panel enclosure shall be equipped with a "roll -up" style door. <br />Door shall be shutter style (same manufacturer and finish as the specified body compartment side doors), <br />complete with: extruded aluminum shutter slats, bar style bottom rail latch, anodized extruded aluminum <br />vertical side tracks with removable neoprene rubber weatherstripping, overhead door seal with removable <br />neoprene rubber weatherstripping, and a spring loaded "front roll" door lift/roll-up mechanism. <br />NOTE: The interior depth of the pump operator's panel enclosure (inboard door panel to pump panel) <br />shall be adequate to allow room for the specified pump discharge outlet and suction inlet extensions, <br />stacked adapters, and closures, with the roll -up door closed. <br />OVERHEAD RISER PANEL, INLINE WITH BODY HOSE BED RISER PANEL <br />A longitudinal riser panel is to be provided, inline with and matching height of apparatus body hose bed <br />riser panel. <br />Riser panel to be constructed of type 304 stainless steel, matching the pump module material. <br />SPEEDLAY HOSEBEDS <br />SPEED -LAY, 200 FT 1.75" <br />Two (2), modular/removable cartridge style speed -lay hose bed is to be provided, fabricated of .5" thick <br />Poly. Hose bed is to be accessible for loading via removable "speedlay cartridge" which is designed to <br />accommodate 200 ft. of 1.75" double jacket fire hose. Modular speed -lay hose bed poly cartridge is to be <br />removable and include: two (2) hand holes, perforated floor, and the specified overhead discharge outlet <br />swivel fitting. 4-way mirror finish stainless steel cartridge cavitiy surrounds are to be provided, driver <br />and passenger side, to protect side panels during hose deployment and installation of cartridge hose bed. <br />Modular poly hose bed is to be engineered such that spare hose bed can be made available for "preload" <br />of fire hose. <br />The specified speedlay swivel style discharge outlet is to be located "overhead" the hose bed floor, <br />allowing hose coupling to the outlet after installing the loaded cartridge. Swivel outlet must also allow <br />for deployment of the pre -connected hose, to left and right sides of the vehicle. <br />SPEEDLAY DISCHARGE <br />07/26/22 <br />-84- <br />
