Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />PAINT EXTERIOR PUMP MODULE JOB COLOR <br />The exterior surfaces of the fire pump module, including front, rear, and upper side panels are to be <br />painted a single job color, matching the apparatus body. Areas not to be painted include: brushed <br />stainless steel or vinyl clad overlays, polished treadplate, and gauge/instrument panel. <br />RECESSED OPEN DUNNAGE CAVITY FOR MONITOR and HYDRAULIC GENERATOR <br />A recessed dunnage (open well) cavity is to be furnished, top of pump compartment ahead of hose body <br />between pump compartment side panels. Dunnage cavity is to be of the appropriate size to accommodate <br />the specified hydraulically operated generator and allow for retraction of the specified monitor device. <br />Cavity to be equipped with fabricated/reinforced floor sections that are removable for repair access to <br />pump and plumbing, and floor drain tubes extending to beneath the pump module. Removal of floor <br />sections shall allow top access to pump and its piping. <br />PUMP TEST DATA LABEL <br />The pump control panel is to be provided with a printed data field indicating the rated flow at 150, 165, <br />200 and 250 test pressures, together with the RPM of the engine at those pressures and deliveries. Test <br />Label is to be mounted in clear view of the pump operator's position, as per NFPA 1901 compliance. <br />Test label is to also indicate the following information: <br />Pump Make and Model <br />Pump Capacity <br />Apparatus Date of Manufacture <br />Apparatus Model Designation <br />Apparatus Serial Number <br />Apparatus Production Number <br />Engine Governed Speed <br />Pump Transmission Gear Ratio (to Engine) <br />Data field is to be permanently encased in a chrome full surround bezel. <br />GATED INLET WARNING LABEL(S) <br />WARNING: <br />Death or serious injury might occur if proper operating procedures are not followed.
