Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />All 12-volt switches, relays, terminals, connectors, and wiring to have a direct current rating of 125% of <br />maximum current for which the current is protected. All wiring terminals to be closed barrel style, <br />mechanically crimped, and insulated <br />PUMP MODE TRANSMISSION LOCK -UP <br />Vehicle electronic automatic transmission to be "signaled" by shifting of the fire pump into pump gear, <br />so as to activate transmission "Lock -Up" mode (direct drive). An automatic transmission shift selector <br />position detent or transparent removable shield is to be provided to prevent unintentional movement of <br />the shift selector during pumping operations. <br />PUMP MODULE WIRING SCHEMATICS <br />Vehicle Specific wiring information is to be provided for this particular apparatus "as configured" upon <br />completed delivery of the same. Information is to be in a drawing format, describing origination and <br />termination connections and functions. <br />DEACTIVATE ENGINE COMPRESSION BRAKE - WITH PUMP SHIFT <br />Specified engine compression brake shall be automatically deactivated with the shifting of the pump <br />transmission into "Pump Gear". <br />PUMP COMPARTMENT LIGHT, LED <br />One (1), clear lens 4" round grommet mount 12-volt LED interior pump compartment light to be <br />furnished, mounted beneath the ceiling of interior pump module. Light to be activated by Parking Brake. <br />PUMP INSTRUMENT PANEL/CONTROL PANEL LIGHTING <br />One (1) LED "light strip" is to be provided, with multiple 12-volt LED elements. Light strip is to be <br />located: overhead the pump gauge/instrument panel (see gauge panel) illuminating the gauges, <br />instruments, and controls. Lights to be activated by as specified below. <br />FABRICATED STAINLESS STEEL LIGHT SHIELDS <br />A fabricated stainless steel light shield is to be provided, designed to illuminate downward and inward, <br />prevent outboard glare, and protect the specified light strip. Light shield is to be full width of the <br />specified instrument/gauge panel. <br />PUMP GAUGEANSTRUMENT and PUMP PANEL 12-VOLT LIGHTING, ACTIVATION <br />The specified pump instrument/gauge, control panel, and optionally specified pump panel lighting is to <br />be activated, "ON" by a gauge/instrument panel mounted Light Switch. <br />07/26/22 <br />-89- <br />
