Intake relief valve to be located upstream of the above specified butterfly <br />style gate valve, "sandwiched" between gate valve and specified external inlet fitting. Intake relief valve <br />shall be mounted so as to self -drain and dump excessive suction inlet pressure below the pump <br />compartment. <br />2.5" GATED SUCTION, 2.5" NST PLUGGED, REMOTE CONTROL CONSOLE <br />A passenger's side gated 2.5" pump suction intake is to be furnished, with: 2.5" NST male chrome plated <br />rocker lug plug type cap with chain, 2.5" NST chrome plated rocker lug swivel female with internal <br />strainer, bronze bleeder valve (inboard pump panel) with exterior control, 2.5" full flow Akron 8000 <br />series 1/4-turn ball style self-locking bronze suction valve (located inboard pump panel), Akron R-1 <br />valve handle configured for use with the specified air cylinder actuator, 2.5" i.d. stainless pipe or flanged <br />casting between the valve and the pump intake manifold, and the specified remote valve control console <br />with "OPEN" indicator light. <br />AUXILIARY SUCTION AIR ACTUATOR, GUARDED TOGGLE SWITCH CONTROL <br />Specified auxiliary gated suction valve is to be equipped with a lever valve handle, a fast -acting linear air <br />cylinder valve actuator, proximity switch, and a Williams or equivalent Control Valve with Sliding <br />Collar Lock located on the operator's panel. A 12-volt LED indicator light is to be furnished, adjacent to <br />the valve control, illuminated when valve is "open". <br />DRIVER'S SIDE SUCTIONS) <br />6" NST GATED MASTER SUCTION, ELECTRIC ACTUATED <br />A driver's side gated 6" pump suction intake to be furnished with: 6" removable zinc strainer, 6" NST <br />male inlet adapter, 6" extension nipple (extending through pump panel), 6" ASA threaded flange, bronze <br />bleeder valve located inboard pump panel with remote control handle, 6" Akron butterfly style gate valve <br />with "slow operating" 12-volt electric actuator, and appropriate interior pump compartment 6" ASA <br />flanged pump intake fitting.
