Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />One (1) each 6" NST vented long handled chrome plated suction cap. <br />SUCTION INTAKE RELIEF VALVE - INBOARD DRIVER SIDE PUMP PANEL <br />One (1) Elkhart adjustable bronze suction intake relief valve(s) shall be furnished, enclosed inboard the <br />driver's side pump panel. Intake relief valve to be located upstream of the above specified butterfly style <br />gate valve, "sandwiched" between gate valve and specified external inlet fitting. Intake relief valve shall <br />be mounted so as to self -drain and dump excessive suction inlet pressure below the pump compartment. <br />2.5" GATED SUCTION, 2.5" NST PLUGGED, REMOTE CONTROL CONSOLE <br />A driver's side gated 2.5" pump suction intake is to be furnished, with 2.5" NST male chrome plated <br />rocker lug plug type cap with chain, 2.5" NST chrome plated rocker lug swivel female with internal <br />strainer, bronze bleeder valve (inboard pump panel) with exterior control, 2.5" full flow Akron 8000 <br />series 1/4-turn ball style self-locking bronze suction valve (located inboard pump panel), Akron R-1 <br />valve handle configured for use with the specified air cylinder actuator, 2.5" i.d. stainless pipe or flanged <br />casting between the valve and the pump intake manifold, and the specified remote valve control console <br />with "OPEN" indicator light. <br />AUXILIARY SUCTION AIR ACTUATOR, GUARDED TOGGLE SWITCH CONTROL <br />Specified auxiliary gated suction valve is to be equipped with a lever valve handle, a fast -acting linear air <br />cylinder valve actuator, proximity switch, and a Williams or equivalent Control Valve with Sliding <br />Collar Lock located on the operator's panel. A 12-volt LED indicator light is to be furnished, adjacent to <br />the valve control, illuminated when valve is "open". <br />PASSENGER SIDE DISCHARGE(S) <br />PASSENGER SIDE 2.5" DISCHARGE <br />One (1), passenger's side 2.5" gated discharge to be furnished with: 2.5" NST chrome plated brass rocker <br />lug cap with chain, 2.5" NST male x 2.5" NST rocker lug swivel female 45 degree chrome plated brass <br />elbow outlet extension, 2.5" NST male chrome plated brass outlet adapter, .75" bleeder valve and hose <br />assembly, 2.5" i.d. stainless steel pipe nipple, 2.5" Waterous 1/4-turn discharge valve with chrome plated <br />ball and spring loaded self-adjusting seal assembly (located inside pump enclosure), and push-pull <br />chrome "locking -style" discharge control handle located on the pump operator's control panel. <br />PASSENGER SIDE LARGE DIAMETER DISCHARGE <br />07/26/22 <br />-95- <br />
