Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />AUX PTO PUMP SYSTEM <br />UPF POLY TANK III <br />The specified water tank shall be manufactured by United Plastics Fabrication (UPF), NO <br />EXCEPTIONS. <br />The booster tank warranty is to be provided by United Plastics Fabricating, Inc., copy of the warranty <br />must be included in the delivery documents. <br />UPF POLY TANK DATA PLACARD <br />The Apparatus is to be provided with a Data Placard, as furnished by the Water Tank Manufacturer. The <br />Data Placard is to include the following fields of information: <br />MAXIMUM FILL PRESSURE: PSI <br />MAXIMUM FILL RATE: GPM <br />DATE OF MANUFACTURE <br />TANK SERIAL NUMBER <br />WATER TANK SUPPORT STRUCTURE <br />WATER CAPACITY: Gallons <br />FOAM CAPACITY: Gallons -A <br />FOAM CAPACITY: Gallons-B <br />The specified water tank is to be nested into a full perimeter mounting "picture frame" style <br />support structure consisting of 2" x 2" x .25" thick 304 grade stainless steel angle. The front of tank <br />is to be equipped with a full width .25" thick front base plate. All stainless cradles are to be wire -feed <br />welded to the specified stainless steel apparatus body sub frame transverse tubings. <br />Structure is to be tank -specific, and shall provide support in the areas and locations specified by the tank <br />manufacturer. <br />All mating areas between tank and structure are to be lined with 60 DURO rubber cushion <br />material, .5" thick on horizontal and front surfaces and .25" thick on sides and back vertical <br />surfaces. <br />Structure is to be mounted to chassis frame rail side walls by hardened carriage bolts. The use of <br />threaded rod plates or U-bolts will not be considered adequate. <br />TANK CRADLE STRUCTURE WARRANTY <br />The tank cradle is to have a lifetime warranty, both structurally and corrosion -free, as provided by body <br />builder <br />PROJECT SPECIFIC TANK REQUIRED <br />07/26/22 <br />-103- <br />
