Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />VALVE <br />One (1) each 2.5" ball valve with manual control, 2.5" stainless steel piping, and 2.5" NST swivel female <br />inlet, internal strainer, plug cap and chain shall be provided. <br />BLEEDER VALVE <br />A 1/4-turn drain/bleeder valve shall be furnished, with exterior rear body panel mounted chrome plated <br />bleeder valve control handle, and recessed permanently engraved identification label. <br />DIRECT TANK FILL, 2.5" VALVE WITH 2.5" NST FEMALE INLET <br />LOCATION <br />There shall be one (1) 2.5" gated external tank fill furnished and properly labeled, installed on the <br />passenger's side of the apparatus. <br />Piping, for the fill, shall be routed through the rear wall of the tank and include an interior tank flow <br />deflector to "break up" the stream of water entering the water tank. <br />VALVE <br />One (1) each 2.5" Akron ball valve with manual control, 2.5" stainless steel piping, and 2.5" NST swivel <br />female inlet with plug cap and chain shall be provided. <br />BLEEDER VALVE <br />A 1/4-turn drain/bleeder valve shall be furnished, with exterior rear body panel mounted chrome plated <br />bleeder valve control handle, and recessed permanently engraved identification label. <br />FIREMAN'S FRIEND 5" TANK FILL VALVE <br />A 5" size Fireman's Friend model 5" FEE Tanker Fill Device shall be furnished, located at rear of <br />apparatus. Fill valve to be equipped with 8-bolt mounting plate attachment, located in the rear lower <br />portion of the tank, so as to not interfere with the specified dump valve, or sump design. Fill valve inlet <br />specified below. <br />ACCOMMODATONS FOR FIREMENS FRIEND VALVE <br />Firemen's Friend 8-Bolt Flange Block to be provided for the optionally specified back -fill valve. Flange <br />Block is to be welded to the specified poly water tank, inline with the optionally specified Firemen's <br />Friend designated location. <br />FFE INLET ADAPTERS <br />The above specified 5" Fireman's Friend fill device shall be equipped, at inlet, with: 5" NST male fitting, <br />5" NST female swivel x 5" Locking Storz 30-degree lightweight elbow adapter, and a 5" Locking Storz <br />cap with cable retainer. <br />== TNDM AXLE PUMPER TANKER BODY REV 6-12-13 - 0.000 06/14/21 == <br />07/26/22 <br />-105- <br />
