Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />Hydraulic equipment rack shall be equipped with Two (2) storage boxes constructed of .125" aluminum <br />treadbrite exterior. Boxes shall be fabricated and bolted together for ease of repair or modification over <br />time. <br />Each box shall have an overlapping hinged door along the longest edge of opening. <br />Door shall be equipped with Large chrome or polished stainless steel D-ring latch. <br />Compartment dimensions shall each be 130" long x 10" wide x 10" tall. Door and hinge shall be <br />weatherstripped to prevent water intrusion. <br />TRIPLE -BROKE -FLANGE 'SAFETY EDGE" HOSEBED RISERS <br />Driver's side and passenger's side full length longitudinal hose bed risers are to be furnished, with <br />triple -formed top horizontal flange, vertical rear triple -formed flange, and mitered top rear corner. A <br />forward transverse hose bed riser is to be furnished, with triple -formed top flange, extending between and <br />flush with driver's side and passenger's side hose bed risers. In addition to improved strength and <br />appearance, the triple -formed -flanges are to provide for a "safety edge" when used as a hand -grasp during <br />hose loading operations. Front transverse hose bed riser is to be bolted to front body cross panels, easily <br />removable. Driver's and passenger's side hose bed risers are to be bolted to compartment roof tops, <br />"inboard" and flush with hose bed side walls, easily removable. Transverse and longitudinal hose bed <br />risers are to be designed so as to provide additional hose bed depth, easily removable for future <br />adjustments to hose bed depth. <br />Hose bed risers are to be fabricated of type 304 stainless steel #4-brushed un-painted natural finish. <br />INBOARD BODY -HOSE BED SIDES TO REMAIN BRUSHED STAINLESS FINISH <br />The inboard vertical sides and front of the main hose bed area, driver and passenger side full length and <br />height of the entire hose bed area, is to remain a "brushed stainless steel finish", NOT PAINTED job <br />color. <br />OVERHEAD HOSE BODY: FORWARD DUNNAGE AND REARWARD HOSE BED <br />The upper level centerline of hose body, above the water tank, is to include a forward dunnage area, and <br />a rearward hose bed. <br />OPEN -TOP DUNNAGE AREA <br />Open dunnage area is to be provided. <br />A forward hose body transverse divider panel is to be provided, fabricated with perimeter flanges, and <br />bolted in position (so as to be removable) immediately to the rear of the water tank fill stack. Transverse <br />divider panel is to form the forward wall of the main hose bed area, and provide a mounting surface for <br />optionally specified adjustable hose bed divider tracks. <br />07/26/22 <br />- 118 - <br />
