Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br />All .375" diameter and smaller screws and bolts shall be stainless steel with a wax coating, designed to <br />reduce the potential for electrolysis and corrosion to occur where items are assembled and attached. <br />REFLECTIVE STRIPING,10" WIDE, SCOTCHLITE <br />A 10" wide horizontal ScotchLite reflective stripe is to be affixed to the full length of driver <br />side and passenger side of the vehicle, in conformance with NFPA 1901 reflectivity requirement. <br />OUTLINE OF SINGLE REFLECTIVE STRIPES, HORIZONTAL <br />A non -reflective Turned Gold 1/2" wide outline is to be applied on the top and the bottom of the <br />reflective band(s) of striping, horizontally full length of striping. <br />HOCKEY STICK SHAPE IN REFLECTIVE STRIPE <br />There is to be a "Hockey Stick" shape in the reflective stripe design, with lower level forward horizontal <br />stripe angling upwards and rearward (ahead of wheelwell housings), to upper level rearward horizontal <br />stripe. <br />REFLECTIVE MEDIA (STRIPING), CAB INTERIOR DOORS <br />A White ScotchLite or equivalent reflective stripe is to be affixed to the interior of each chassis cab door. <br />The stripes are each to be a minimum of 96 sq. in. so as to meet the NFPA 1901 requirement. <br />GOLD LETTERING, BLACK SHADED <br />Driver's side and passenger's side chassis cab front doors shall be furnished with CAD generated machine <br />cut simulated Gold Leaf lettering, suitably shaded with Black vinyl. <br />Forty-one (41) to sixty (60) CAD generated machine cut simulated gold leaf letters, 3.00" tall, <br />highlighted with black vinyl shading shall be provided. <br />Lettering to be encapsulated between two (2) layers of Mylar, for protection and longevity. <br />GOLD LEAF LETTERING, 8" TALL, BLACK SHADED <br />Sixty (60) each, CAD generated machine cut Genuine Gold Leaf Lettering, suitably shaded with Black <br />vinyl, are to be provided.
