Consider Resolution No. 22-100 Approving Parking Deferment Agreement – 126 <br />City Planner Larsen reviewed a presentation that included information on the following: 127 <br />- Site Review; 128 <br />- Existing Site Conditions; 129 <br />- Preliminary Plat; 130 <br />- Ghost Plat; 131 <br />- Site Plan; review of specifics on parking, square footage, driveway; 132 <br />- Architectural (exterior); Landscaping. 133 <br />- Findings of Fact; 134 <br />- Staff and Board Comments – recommend approval. 135 <br />Councilmember Lyden moved to approve Resolution No. 22-97, Resolution No. 22-98, Resolution 136 <br />No. 22-99 and Resolution No. 22-100 as presented. Consider Resolution No. 22-89 Approving First Amendment to 139 <br />Development Agreement; ii. Consider Resolution No. 22-90 Agreement for Reimbursement of 140 <br />Meter Vault Installation with MCES – City Engineer Hankee reviewed the written staff report. 141 <br />Staff is recommending two actions related to the new trunk sewer that will be installed as part of this 142 <br />project. The sewer work requires installation of a meter vault. The developer will be required to 143 <br />include this installation in the project, the cost of the vault installation will be reimbursed to the City 144 <br />by the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services Division and the City will then reimburse the 145 <br />developer for the cost. 146 <br />Councilmember Cavegn asked for an explanation – what is a meter vault. Engineer Hankee 147 <br />explained that is provided as a flow monitor and informs subsenquent charges. 148 <br />Councilmember Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 22-89 and Resolution No. 22-90 as 149 <br />presented. Councilmember Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 150 <br />6D) Consider Approval of Resolution No. 22-102, Accepting Quotes and Awarding a 151 <br />Construction Contract, 2022 Surface Water Maintenance Project – City Engineer Hankee 152 <br />reviewed the written staff report. Staff is prepared to accept a quote and award a contract for this 153 <br />year’s surface water maintenance program. The City has a statutory obligation to provide this type of 154 <br />maintenance. The program is funded through the City’s budget. 155 <br />Councilmember Stoesz confirmed that the work is done in winter for better access and that area 156 <br />residents will be notified ahead of work. 157 <br /> 158
