INTERIM USE. A temporary use of property until a particular date, until the occurrence of <br />a particular event, or until zoning regulations no longer allow said use. <br />IRRIGATION SYSTEM. Any structure or equipment, mechanized or other, used to supply <br />water for landscaping, vegetation, commercial agriculture or horticulture, including, but not <br />limited to, wells, pumps, motors, pipes, culverts, gates, dams, ditches, tanks, ponds, and reservoirs. <br />JUNK YARD. Any area, lot, land, parcel, building structure or part thereof used for the <br />storage, collection, processing, purchase, sale or abandonment of wastepaper, rags, scrap metal or <br />other scrap or discarded goods, materials, machinery or two (2) or more unregistered, inoperable <br />motor vehicles or other type of junk. <br />KENNEL, COMMERCIAL. Any structure or premises on which dogs are kept for the <br />business of boarding for a fee, for the business of breeding for sale or other profit -making purpose, <br />and not solely for private enjoyment. <br />KENNEL, PRIVATE. Any structure or premises on which no more than four (4) dogs, over <br />six months of age, are kept for private enjoyment and not for monetary gain. <br />LAND RECLAMATION. The process of the re-establishment of, acceptable topography <br />(i.e., slopes), vegetative cover, and soil stability, and the establishment of safe conditions <br />appropriate to the subsequent use of the land. <br />LIGHTING RELATED. <br />(a) Cutoff. The point at which all light rays emitted by a lamp, light source or luminaire <br />are completely eliminated at a specific angle above the ground. <br />(b) Cutoff Angle. The angle formed by a line drawn from the direction of light rays at <br />the light source and a line perpendicular to the ground from the light source above which no light <br />is emitted (see Figure 1). <br />Figure 1.
