CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.22-155 <br />AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF HANNAH LYNCH AS INTERIM CITY <br />CLERK <br />WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the Lino Lakes Charter provides that: <br />• The Council shall appoint a City Clerk. The City Clerk shall: <br />1) Report directly to the City Administrator, and <br />2) Have the duties and responsibilities determined by applicable state law and City <br />ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, City Clerk, Julie Bartell is retiring from the City effective December 31, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, to allow for a transition period until the City Clerk position is filled by Council <br />appointment, the appointment of an Interim City Clerk is necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, Hannah Lynch is willing and able to serve as Interim City Clerk. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, that: <br />1) Hannah Lynch is hereby appointed as Interim City Clerk, with the ability to perform any <br />and all functions the City Clerk might perform. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of December 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof - <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
