CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.21-152 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING AN EMERALD ASH BORER <br />INJECTION PROGRAM CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for an ash tree injection program for City <br />boulevard and private trees for 2023-2024, quotes were received and evaluated: <br />Rainbow Treecare <br />City boulevard <br />Private <br />Price/inch DBH <br />$4.85 <br />$7.25 <br />YTS Companies, LLC. <br />City boulevard <br />Private <br />Price/inch DBH <br />$5.75 <br />$6.50-$10.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Rainbow Treecare is the lowest responsible bidder for City <br />boulevard trees, lowest in overall program cost, and has provided outreach material to support <br />the program; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding for the City boulevard tree treatments will come from the General Fund <br />Forestry Budget; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Rainbow <br />Treecare for city boulevard and private ash tree injections for 2023-2024. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this day of 2022. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof - <br />The following voted against same: <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
